Kick off the festivities at 9:30 AM on July 4th with a Kid’s Bicycle Contest at Railroad Park, where children of all ages can decorate their bikes with patriotic flair. At 10:30 AM, don’t miss the lively Fourth of July Parade on Main Street, showcasing floats, golf carts, vintage cars, and patriotic bicyclists.

From 11 AM to 9 PM, explore downtown Smithville for lunch, brunch, and shopping specials, or head to the Smithville VFW Hall for a free community meal of hot dogs, chips, and drinks, alongside food vendors, a cash bar, and children's games. At 1 PM, enjoy a family-friendly Bingo event, followed by live music from the Johnny Rockit Band from 7 to 9 PM. The day culminates with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 PM, promising an unforgettable evening of fun, camaraderie, and patriotism, all against the backdrop of small-town charm in historic Smithville.
