The Hurst Lecture Series presents "Democracy, Diplomacy, and the New World Order," featuring Michael McFaul, former US ambassador to Russia, and Elliot Gerson, senior fellow at the Aspen Institute. In this discussion, McFaul draws on his diplomatic experience and insights from his recent book, "Autocrats vs. Democrats: China, Russia, America and the New Global Disorder," to explore the evolving landscape of international relations. He addresses the state of US relations with rivals China and Russia, the broader geopolitical challenges facing democracies, and the critical role of diplomacy in an increasingly complex world.
