Details:

New England Trail Ride Series – One-Day Adventures 2026
The New England Trail Ride Series 2026 packs the spirit of multi-day expeditions into a single, perfectly curated day. Led by Ridgeback Guide Service, each ride explores New Hampshire and Vermont’s most scenic and challenging Class VI roads. These routes are meticulously scouted in advance to blend beautiful backcountry scenery with genuine off-road challenges. Along the way, professional guides offer trail guidance and 4×4 driving tips so you leave with new skills as well as great memories.
What’s to Expect
Authentic Trails & Roads– Tackle a mix of varying terrain trails through forests, farmland and mountains. Expect moderate challenges and technical sections that will make you think about line choice and traction without venturing into extreme, vehicle-breaking terrain.
Professional Guidance & Skills– RGS guides lead every mile, sharing recovery techniques, driving tips and knowledge of the region. Their pre-scouted routes ensure a fun, safe day for participants with varying levels of experience.
All-Day Format– These rides run roughly 8:30 am to 5 pm. You’ll start with a morning briefing and vehicle check, spend the day on the trails with a midday break to air up and refuel, then finish back at your staging area in time for dinner.
Small-Group Camaraderie– Each event is capped at about ten vehicles, giving you personal attention from guides and a convoy small enough to keep a steady pace. Expect a friendly, supportive atmosphere where drivers swap stories and help each other through obstacles.
Flexibility & Accessibility– These rides are designed for street-legal, insured 4×4 vehicles. Full-size trucks and vans may require approval, but many stock or lightly modified rigs are welcome as long as they meet basic recovery and safety requirements. (Check the full requirements when you sign up.)
