Details:
Join the Austin High School Girls Who Code for the Coding Club, a fun and interactive coding experience for ages 9-16. Hosted bi-monthly, this club focuses on block coding using Scratch, where participants will learn programming skills, collaborate with peers, and design engaging games with the guidance of a coding mentor. As you progress, you'll have opportunities to advance in ranking by completing different levels. The second session each month will feature “Beyond Scratch,” exploring various platforms, languages, and creative coding methods. No registration is required, but please note that library devices are limited, so it’s recommended to bring your own laptop, Chromebook, or tablet. Basic computer and reading skills are prerequisites for participation.
