Prisco Community Center is located on the corner of Lake Street and Illinois Avenue in Aurora. Situated in McCullough Park, the building faces the scenic Fox River. A major renovation to the center was completed in 2003. Prisco Community Center includes a gymnasium, classroom space, dance studio, fitness center, and a large, rentable multi-use room with a stage. The three flexible community rooms host rentals such as banquets, birthday parties, weddings, showers, professional meetings, seminars, religious events and school functions. Programs at Prisco include Creative Play Preschool, Friendly Center Club for seniors, dance and drama classes, school and holiday break camps, fitness classes, martial arts and more. Prisco Community Center has a wood floor gymnasium that can be used for basketball, volleyball and soccer with bleachers that seat 600 spectators. The space can be rented. The gymnasium balcony space is used for tumbling, karate and batting cages. Prisco Community Center is the hub for many park district activities including after-school programs, cultural outreach activities, holiday and summer camps and senior programming.
