"Art of Queerness, Queerness of Art" ADSF Pride Pop-up Exhibition

The Art District on Santa Fe is thrilled to announce Art of Queerness, Queerness of Art, a Pride Pop-up Exhibition for the month of June! This exhibition is inspired by a long history of LGBTQ+ artists as revolutionaries and trailblazers—those who have changed the trajectories of countless art movements throughout history. At the confluence of these traditions and our current political environment, this show invites artists to explore expression of Queerness as an art form, and to consider how creative practices in return often function as extensions and expressions of identity. In other words, we invite you to join us as we celebrate both the Art of Queerness, and the Queerness of Art. Featuring artists Denym Aphrodyte, Clay Ash, Macey Boren, Justin Bravo, Bluebird Lane, Katie Chock, Renzo Contreras, Bry Cruz, Eric Fischer, Leigh Gonzalez, Theo Peck, Dusty Perry, Ragdoll, Harley Ralston, Pedro Ramos, Leilani Reyes, and Rhae Schulz.
