In this comprehensive course, students will learn the fundamentals of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, specifically the Vodder Method. This course will allow therapists to develop treatment sequences for the management of general edema of various geneses as well as several pathologies such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, chronic pain reduction and others. During this course, the participants will learn to perform techniques that will assist patients and clients in general relaxation, health support and detoxification.
Through comprehensive and in-depth instruction, students will gain a thorough understanding of the Lymphatic System, its functions and its role in assisting the circulatory, digestive and immune systems.
Students will also acquire an in depth knowledge of the special techniques and tissue manipulations specific to MLD developed by Emil Vodder, Ph.D.
More than half the class is devoted to hands on practice. The balance of the time is spent participating in lectures and discussions.
