Walking into a new church for the first time can be intimidating, but don't stress. We want to help make your first experience at The Plains UMC a great one!
At TPUMC, we have two services each Sunday. Each service goes about an hour and features music, prayer, readings from the Bible, and a sermon intended to help explain what God is saying to us today. The big difference is the style of music. Our 10:00 am traditional service features hymns from throughout the Christian tradition, an organ, and a choir, while the 11:15 Worship Cafe features a worship band and contemporary music. The traditional service tends to favor a more formal attire while the Worship Cafe tends to be more casual. Whether you're traditional or contemporary, we hope you'll join us in worshiping God.
