Victoria Mitchell Taylor will be teaching this introduction to Qi Gong for adults.
Yang-style Tai Chi is an internal form of martial arts consisting of 108 moves done slowly and intentionally. Qi Gong is a related form that emphasizes many principles consistent with tai chi practice but does not require learning the entire slow form. Qi Gong is physical but not strenuous and supports physical and mental health. It can be practiced anywhere at any time.
Victoria is originally from California where she studied tai chi with Grandmaster Tung Kai Ying for a decade before moving to Meigs County, Ohio in the early nineties. She has been teaching tai chi at the Athens Community Center since 2001.
