Details:
Ohio University’s Founders Day annually provides University Archives the chance to explore stories, people, and events in OHIO’s past that demonstrate the uniqueness of the university’s history. This year, in the exhibit, "OHIO Student Life in the Postwar Years: Rediscovering the Grace Fleischer Diary, 1949-1953," OHIO student archivist assistants Olivia Ondrik, BFA '27 and Taylor Connelly, MA '26 present and illustrate, in virtual and physical format, a cracking good story of student life and culture on OHIO’s campus during those formative post-World War II years, often using Grace’s written words and the interview which we conducted with her. Peruse the Grace Fleischer Diary and hear her recent interview with University Archivist Bill Kimok.
