Kids in College

The upcoming events include the "Kids in College" summer enrichment program and the "Green STEM Camp," both designed for students in kindergarten through 8th grade and focused on creativity and environmental education. The "Kids in College" program offers hands-on classes in science, art, languages, and history, led by enthusiastic instructors, with sessions such as Art Exploration, Cake Decorating, Fun with Fairy Tales, and STEM Plus Art = STEAM through Literature, for a cost of $50 per class. In contrast, the "Green STEM Camp," organized by The Patton College of Education, promotes environmental literacy and sustainability through hands-on activities, field trips, and immersive experiences.

Additionally, Ohio University's Transportation & Parking Services has announced partial closures of Parking Lot 132 adjacent to Peden Stadium starting at 10:00 AM on May 10, 2026, for construction, with a reopening expected in August 2026. Likewise, Parking Lot 40 will close on August 4, 2025, at 5:00 AM for similar construction, with plans to reopen in late 2026. Vehicles remaining in these lots during the closures may incur citations or relocation fees.
