Green STEM Camp (Summer Camp for kids)

Ohio University is hosting several events and parking updates that are important for the community. The Green STEM Camp, focused on environmental education and sustainability for children, will be held on June 2, 2026, at Jefferson Library, with check-in at the Patton Hall entrance. Families can park in Patton lot for drop-offs. Meanwhile, various parking lot closures will occur as part of construction projects: Portions of Parking Lot 40 (Lower Seigfred), Parking Lot 44 (Patton Hall), and Parking Lot 41 (Lower Seigfred) will close at 5:00 AM on August 4, 2025, with reopening expected in late 2026. Additionally, a portion of Parking Lot 132 at Peden Stadium will close on May 10, 2026, re-opening in August 2026. Moreover, two exhibits are on display: “OHIO Student Life in the Postwar Years: Rediscovering the Grace Fleischer Diary, 1949-1953” showcasing student culture through personal diaries, and “お土産話 - Travel Stories,” a photography exhibition reflecting on study abroad experiences in Japan by Clara Gaadt and Greta DeLapp, available until September 2026.
