Green STEM Camp (Summer Camp for kids)

Green STEM Camp, a summer program offered by The Patton College of Education's Stevens Center for Literacy and STEM Education, will be held at Jefferson Library in Jefferson Hall (room 179) on June 2, 2026. Families can drop off and pick up campers in Parking Lot 44 (Patton Hall), which will partially close for construction starting August 4, 2025, with a planned reopening at the end of 2026. Check-in will occur at the front entrance of Patton, after which campers and counselors will walk to Jefferson Hall. Throughout the camp, participants will engage in hands-on activities focusing on environmental literacy and sustainability, including field trips to reinforce their understanding of environmental stewardship. Additionally, Parking Lots 40 and 41 (Lower Seigfred) will also close on August 4, 2025, with similar timelines for reopening, while Parking Lot 132 at Peden Stadium will close on May 10, 2026, for construction and is expected to reopen in August 2026. Any vehicles remaining in these areas during their respective closure times may face citations or relocation at the owner's expense.
