Green STEM Camp (Summer Camp for kids)

The Green STEM Camp, a summer program designed to educate children about environmental literacy and sustainability, will take place at the Jefferson Library on June 2, 2026. Participants will gather in the Patton lot for morning check-in before walking to Jefferson Hall with counselors. The camp focuses on hands-on activities that promote environmental stewardship and includes field trips to enhance learning. Meanwhile, Ohio University Transportation & Parking Services has announced several parking lot closures due to construction: a partial closure of Parking Lot 40 on August 4, 2025, with re-opening planned for late 2026; a closure of Parking Lot 41 starting at 11:00 PM on May 22, 2026, set to re-open on June 10, 2026; and a partial closure of Parking Lot 44 beginning on August 4, 2025, also expected to be closed until late 2026. Vehicles remaining in these areas during the specified closure times may face citation or relocation costs.
