Council Committee Meetings

The City of Nelsonville announces that the following City Council Committees will be holding meetings on Monday, July 13, 2026, at City Hall prior to the scheduled regular City Council meeting. 6:20 PM – Planning and Development Committee Duration: 15 minutes Discussion regarding authorization of the Athens County Land Bank to demolish designated structures in the City of Nelsonville. 6:35 PM – Finance Committee Duration: 20 minutes Discussion regarding changing the Special Projects Coordinator position from hourly to salaried employment. Discussion regarding the potential police-services contract between the City of Nelsonville and the Village of Buchtel. Citizens comments may be made in person or Emailed to councilclerk@cityofnelsonville.com by 1PM, Monday, July 13, 2026. The meetings may be streamed on the City of Nelsonville YouTube channel.
