Howard Park & Community Center is a six-acre public park and recreation facility in Athens, Georgia, operated by the ACC Leisure Services Department. The center features an 8,100 square foot recreation building, a pirate-ship inspired playground, an outdoor pool, splash pad, basketball courts, and picnic shelters. It offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages, including adult and senior programs, children's programs, summer camps, arts and crafts, and a computer lab. The facility is ADA accessible and provides amenities such as restrooms, parking, and free WiFi. In October 2024, it was renamed Christine W. Howard Park and Community Center in honor of Christine W. Howard, who had a long tenure at the original community center.
