Discovery Time with Miss Christine: Women Who Reach for the Stars

Join us for Discovery Time with Miss Christine: Women Who Reach for the Stars, a summer program designed for preschool and elementary-age children, featuring engaging books, hands-on activities, and creative play, held every Tuesday at 11:30 am at the Fairbanks Branch Library. This edition focuses on exploring American music genres from classical to hip-hop while also highlighting inspiring figures like space scientists and pioneering fossil hunter Mary Anning. Children ages 3-10, along with their younger siblings (with parental supervision), are invited to learn through creativity, curiosity, and joy. Each session includes storytelling, singing, dancing, and crafts to build fine motor skills. Registration is required to secure a spot, and programs are ADA-compliant with special accommodations available upon request. Please notify staff if you prefer your child not to be photographed or recorded.
