Bookmark Contest

Join us at the Conneaut Public Library this summer for exciting events as part of our Summer Reading program, "Where Every Page is Magic!"

From June 1st to August 1st, unleash your creativity in the Disney-inspired Bookmark Contest. Participants can pick up a bookmark template to design at home or at the library. Completed bookmarks will be displayed in Gallery 304, and community voting will take place from August 3rd to 8th. Three winners—one Youth, one Teen, and one Adult—will each receive a $25 gift card, and their bookmarks will be professionally printed for patrons to take home.

Additionally, from July 27th to August 1st, all ages can add color and creativity by creating their own papel picado, a traditional Mexican craft of colorful cut paper. Join us to make festive paper flags while learning about this beautiful art form, commonly used in celebrations and festivals in Mexico. Supplies are limited, so come early to participate!
