Bookmark Contest

Join us this summer at the Conneaut Public Library for an exciting array of creative events as part of our Summer Reading program, "Where Every Page is Magic"! From June 1st to August 1st, unleash your imagination in the Disney-inspired Bookmark Contest by designing your own magical bookmark. Collect a template to work on at home or in the library, and return your artwork for display in Gallery 304. Community voting will occur from August 3rd to 8th, with three winners—one Youth, one Teen, and one Adult—announced on August 10th, each receiving a $25 gift card and having their bookmarks professionally printed for the library patrons to enjoy.

Additionally, from July 27th to August 1st, all ages can participate in our DIY Papel Picado workshop, where you can create vibrant paper flags inspired by the traditional Mexican art form. Use cut paper patterns and bright colors to craft your own festive designs while exploring this beautiful cultural craft often featured in celebrations. Supplies are limited, so be sure to join us and celebrate creativity this summer!
