Since 1990, The Hanover Tavern Foundation has overseen the operations, activities and preservation of this historic landmark, one of the oldest surviving taverns in the United States. Hanover Tavern Restaurant & Pub operates as a full service restaurant providing lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The Tavern is a perfect place for your wedding, event, party, or business meeting, small or large. Guided tours of the historic Tavern are offered Wednesday-Friday at 2 PM. Audio tours are available during most business hours. Virginia Repertory Theatre performs several plays here each year as part of their Barksdale Season.
