Join us for an enriching experience at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden with two exciting events:
1. **Urban Oasis: Gardening with Native Plants in Richmond City**: Transform your Richmond yard into a low-maintenance, nature-friendly landscape. This course teaches you to select and place native plants suited to local conditions, covering site assessment, installation, and care to enhance your outdoor space while supporting local wildlife. Participants will receive actionable strategies and a mix-and-match six-pack of urban-tolerant native plants. Fees are $54 for members and $68 for non-members.
2. **Storytime in the Garden**: Delight in storytelling and crafts every Friday and Saturday at 10 am from February through October 2026. This fun event builds early and nature literacy through engaging readings, songs, and hands-on craft activities perfect for all ages and abilities. Admission is included with regular Garden entry and free for members.
Additionally, experience **Fairy Gardens: The Art of Miniature Gardening**, where you can create your own “Mini World” using dwarf trees and miniature plants under the guidance of expert Serome. Fees are $77 for members and $96 for non-members.
