Details:
This is a quiet, scenic walk through the woods with a waterfall at about 2 miles in. The total loop is 7 miles. There are some strenuous inclines and declines toward the beginning and end of the loop, but the overall difficulty is relatively moderate. Hiking poles are strongly recommended, as well as layers. This hike is in a designated Roadless Area. Participants will be educated on the National Forest 2001 Roadless Rule which protects the area from logging and road building, and the current efforts to rescind that rule by the administration.
