Join us for an incredibly special, intimate concert as Todd Sheaffer (esteemed songwriter and front man of Railroad Earth) and Chris Thompson (front man of Colorado's own CORAL CREEK) officially kick off the Railroad Earth Colorado Run.
These exclusive, intimate shows feature the legendary songs that have made Railroad Earth one of the hottest tickets on the festival circuit, presented by Sheaffer in a solo format with masterful instrumental accompaniment by Thompson on guitar and bass. Expect two full sets of brilliant original music, deep improvisation, and a musical ride that frequently ends with a cacophonous, backyard singalong dance party.

As the front man of Railroad Earth, Todd Sheaffer's songwriting has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. Joining him is Colorado-based songwriter Chris Thompson, front man of Americana/Jamgrass staples CORAL CREEK and Uptown Toodeloo (Grateful Dead tribute). Produced by newgrass greats Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident) and Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth), Thompson performs a massive repertoire of originals alongside time-tested favorites from the Grateful Dead, The Band, CSN, Neil Young, and Jimmy Cliff. Having released six acclaimed albums, Thompson has shared festival stages and beach bars across the US, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Kicking off the evening is Colorado-based musician Grant Livingston, delivering thoughtful melodies and contemplative lyricism in the form of psychedelic folk music. His heartfelt songs display a timeless, yet innovative blend of folk, rock, funk, and bluegrass. Whether performing throughout the country as a solo act or leading his Nederland(CO)-based jam band, River Spell, Livingston’s shows are truly unique, immersive experiences where no two shows are ever the same.
