TAG: Watch Muralists Paint our Galleries!

Join us for TAG: Watch Muralists Paint our Galleries at the Trout Museum of Art from August 6 to 25, where galleries transform into dynamic street art studios. During regular museum hours, visitors can observe the live creation of large-scale murals, with the schedule available on our website and social media. This exhibition, inspired by the graffiti term for an artist’s signature, highlights the transition of street art into the museum space while challenging the notion of permanence, as the murals will be intentionally temporary and painted over at the end. The event kicks off with a Member Lot Party on August 6, and culminates with a Street Art Bash on August 29, celebrating the completion of the murals. The exhibition will be open for viewing until January 10, 2027. Admission is FREE thanks to The Boldt Company. Visit us Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 AM – 5 PM, Thursday & Friday from 10 AM – 7 PM, and Saturday & Sunday from 9 AM – 5 PM.
