Details:
Join the Neenah Historical Society for our annual Cemetery Walk on Thursday, July 30th, at 5:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery. This year’s theme, honoring America’s 250th, features stories of Neenah locals connected to Revolutionary War patriots. The Society has partnered with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to identify program features and celebrate their impact. The program will explore how these individuals shaped our community and examine their lasting legacy. The four people we will feature this year are Letta French, Frank Miller, John Pinkerton, and Mary Howden. The presentations will happen inside the chapel. Instead of paying at the cemetery entrance, tickets will be at a table in front of the chapel. The gravesides will have informative markers about the individuals and their patriotic ancestors. The DAR will also have a booth and additional learning opportunities.
