Details:
Join the Neenah Historical Society for the 41st Annual Cemetery Walk on Thursday, July 30 at 5:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, featuring stories of local figures connected to Revolutionary War patriots in honor of America's 250th anniversary. This year's event, in partnership with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), will showcase four notable individuals: John Pinkerton (portrayed by Andy Braunel), Letta French (portrayed by Kara Rothkegel), Frank Miller (portrayed by Roger Miller), and Mary Howden (portrayed by Liz Ferguson). Attendees can explore informative markers at each gravesite, highlighting the legacies of these individuals and their contributions to the community. The program will take place inside the chapel, where guests will pay a $5 entry fee and receive a numbered ticket upon arrival. The DAR will have an information booth on-site. Parking is available inside the cemetery via Main Street gates. Special thanks to Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home and Nercon Conveyor Systems for sponsoring the event.
