Summer Nights: Gelli Printmaking Night

Join us for "Summer Nights: Gelli Printmaking Night," an engaging workshop that celebrates creativity and sustainability through gelli plate printmaking. Designed for beginners and suitable for all skill levels, this evening of exploration will allow you to transform everyday reusable materials into unique, one-of-a-kind prints. Participants will enjoy complimentary refreshments while learning to use a gelli plate to create layered impressions with a focus on texture.

The workshop will feature warm-up exercises to familiarize you with gelli plate tools, step-by-step demonstrations utilizing recycled materials as stencils and texture makers, and guidance on layering colors and shapes. You'll have the opportunity to produce multiple finished prints (approximately 5x7" and/or 5x5"). Additionally, you'll receive tips for continuing sustainable printmaking practices at home. All supplies are included in the class fee, and the event is designed for ages 16 and up. Don't miss this chance to roll, layer, and print in a fun, creative environment!
