5th Annual Heart of Hope 5k & Flow

Fund a Life brings you the 5th Annual (and newly branded!) Heart of Hope 5k & Flow event! Honored to be presented by Trusted Heating & Cooling, and partnering with The Space, this year's IN PERSON event should prove to be our biggest, most impactful, and most energetic summer event yet! In addition to being one of our major fundraising events of the year featuring a 5k run, 1 mile walk, and/or yoga as options to participate, we will be awarding a portion of all the event's proceeds to Tiffany "Cupcake" Henry and her family, a 7 year-old little girl battling ongoing health issues including a recent heart transplant. What better way to celebrate a "Heart of Hope" than to deliver a monstrous check to this inspiring little girl!? Join us on Saturday, July 17th as we are joined by Tiffany's family to share her story, inspire our beautiful community, and help us lift this family up as they continue to embark on this dark and hope robbing journey. Our 5k is held at the beautiful Brighton High School Football Stadium and kicks off with a great energetic dynamic warmup on the football field that will be sure to get your body ramped up for the day! The 5k run starts at the high school and winds through downtown Brighton and alongside the beautiful scenery of Brighton's Millpond and around the downtown area before returning to the stadium. Once back at the stadium, grab a water and some snacks as we cheer on the remaining participants. When everyone has returned we will celebrate with a group picture of HOPE, and announce our age group winners for the 5k. We wind down the event with a relaxing 45 minute yoga session fit for all to help ease you into the remainder of your Saturday. Whether you are an avid runner, yogi, or charity supporter, this will be an event you will not want to miss!
