The Creative Collective: A Mixed Media & Collage Club NEXT MEETING: June 14 || 12 -3 Are you tired of staring at the same three stencils in your drawer? Do you have a mountain of scrap paper but no "hero" pieces? Join us for a hands-on, high-energy creative session where we turn "mine" into "ours" to create one-of-a-kind art. Our club is built on the idea that abundance fuels creativity. By pooling our specialized tools and swapping our stashes, we open up endless possibilities for our art journals, canvases, and collages. 🎨 What We Do Every session is a mix of production and play. We focus on: • Mass-Producing Backgrounds: We set up "stations" with Gelli plates, brayers, and acrylics to churn out stacks of vibrant, textured papers. • The Tool Library: Access a massive variety of stamps, stencils, and texture combs donated to the session by fellow members. • The Great Paper Swap: Bring your "stale" materials—vintage book pages, scrap fabric, or unused ephemera—and trade them for something fresh and inspiring.🛠 What to Bring • Your "Work-in-Progress" Kit: Basic tools like scissors, glue sticks, and your favorite brushes. • The Swap Pile: Anything you're ready to part with (collage fodder, stamps you’re bored with, or extra paper) . • A "Community Contribution": If you have a Gelli plate, a unique stencil, or a cool set of stamps, bring them to the shared table for everyone to use during the session!
