African Fabrics: History, Culture & Creative InspirationJoin Tisha Thorne of Sew Creative Lounge for an inspiring presentation exploring the beauty, history, and cultural significance of African fabrics in sewing and quilting. Through storytelling, garment and quilt samples, and fabric showcases, participants will learn about different African textiles, how they are used creatively in modern quilting and fashion, and ways to confidently incorporate them into their own projects. We are so excited to welcome Tisha Thorne to Cottonwood for this fabulous lecture, after we saw her speak at QuiltCon this year to a packed ballroom! We hope that you will join us to give Tisha a warm welcome to Cottonwood!
