Get in the act! In partnership with Annapolis 250 CCM is producing a musical for July 4th depicting scenes from the history of seeking freedom in this country.
5 Sessions
Tuesdays - June 23rd, June 30th
Thursdays - June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd (dress rehearsal)
Time: 2-4pm
Location: Chesapeake Children's Museum
Age range is 8 & up! (Adults are welcome!)
THE PERFORMANCE IS SATURDAY, JULY 4th at People's Park.
Participants in Show Biz Revolution have the option of leading the audience in several folk dances from diverse cultures starting at 1 pm.
1 pm: Folk dances from diverse cultures
3 pm: "Fifty Nifty United States"
3:15 pm: "Oh Freedom!"
3:45 pm: Frederick Douglass speech, "What to the Slave is the 4th of July?"
This event takes place at People's Park, 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis. Parking is $4 for the day at the Whitmore Garage on Clay Street.
