Print Club: Drypoint Workshop

Details:

Join fellow Print Club members to learn about drypoint, an intaglio printmaking technique. Participants will create their own drypoint print with printmaker Mary Jones. Light refreshments will be provided.
Mary Jones, originally from Pennsylvania, spent most of her life in Chicago. She earned an MFA in printmaking from Indiana University Bloomington and a BFA in Art History from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She has worked as an illustrator, designer, and in higher education as a Professor of Art & Design at Grand View University in Des Moines for 15 years. Her work is held in major collections, and she was named a 2018 – 19 Iowa Arts Council Fellow. As a Print Club member, Mary is excited to facilitate this workshop for fellow Print Club members.
