The Huston Farm Conservation Area in Auburn, Maine, is a significant protected area of farmland and open space. The Androscoggin Land Trust (ALT) manages nearly 90 acres within this area, which includes privately owned agricultural land and sensitive wetlands. The conservation easement, established in 1999, aims to preserve the rural character of the land, ensure its continued agricultural use, provide open space, and protect natural habitats. ALT owns 27 acres and holds easements on an additional 62 acres. The area is recognized for its farmland protection and scenic views.
