**Event Description: Family Farm Explorations**
Join us every Friday through September 25th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Education Barn for our Friday Farmers program, designed for families with children aged 3 years and up. For a fee of $7 per person, adults must participate alongside their children, and Annual Farm Pass holders can use a discount code during checkout. Pre-registration is required for this hands-on experience where you can get your boots dirty while exploring various farm jobs and meeting the animals. Programs may vary depending on the activities of a working farm.
Additionally, we invite you to participate in our free Kids Hour: Salamander Meander! Explore the woods of Wolfe’s Neck Center with our educators as you search for salamanders, snakes, and other wildlife. Learn about the life of amphibians and how to safely interact with them in their natural habitat. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information or to inquire about group bookings of 10 or more, please contact the Education Department at 207.650.3031 or education@pinelandfarms.org.
**Directions to Education Barn:** When visiting, GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine will guide you there. Continue past the Market, turn left onto Valley Farm Rd, and follow it until you reach the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo). Take the immediate right after the Smokehouse to access the Family Farmyard where the Education Barn is located.
