Public Service Announcement – Anderson Radio Club ARRL Field Day 2026!
The Anderson Radio Club invites the community to learn about amateur radio and emergency communications during ARRL Field Day, the largest annual emergency preparedness exercise in the nation.
On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, club members will operate from Shelter 1 in the Day Use Area at Twin Lakes Campground near Pendleton, SC. Setup begins Saturday morning, with stations active through Sunday afternoon.
Visitors are welcome to stop by, see ham radio in action, tour the emergency-powered field station, and talk with operators. Field Day demonstrates how amateur radio operators stand ready to provide vital communications when disasters strike.
