First Presbyterian Church Anderson

From the study of scripture, we strongly believe that our greatest purpose is to glorify God. Pursuing this purpose brings people the greatest possible joy, because it is the reason God made us. One of the ways we do this is through enthusiastic worship. We love to preach, pray, sing, and share the sacraments with one another. We also believe that God is glorified through our fellowship as we simply enjoy spending time together around meals, activities, and service. In addition, we are actively developing small group ministries both to disciple current members and to connect with people in our neighborhoods and community. We eagerly accept our role as missionaries by serving Anderson, and sending parishioners on missions within the United States and internationally. Finally, we enthusiastically support local missions and international missionaries financially and through prayer.
