Lunch on the Lawn

Join us for "Lunch on the Lawn," a vibrant weekly event held every Tuesday and Thursday, where you can enjoy live music and delicious food trucks on the museum lawn. This series features an exciting lineup of local and national acts, with performances scheduled throughout July by artists such as Rick Brooks, Joe Schumacher, and more. In addition to the music, we offer educational programming, community conversations, and family-friendly games, with activities that change weekly. Attendance is free, but please note that if it rains, the music and activities will move indoors, where museum admission applies.

Also, don’t miss the Alaska Bookmobile, a free library on wheels, parked on the lawn. Explore this unique mobile venue and discover resources to enrich your experience. Whether you're there for the tunes or the books, there's something for everyone at Lunch on the Lawn!
