Lunch on the Lawn: Alaska Highway Sign Post Forest Activity

Join us for "Lunch on the Lawn," a vibrant two-part series featuring live music, food trucks, and engaging activities every Tuesday and Thursday. Enjoy performances from local and national acts while exploring educational programming, community conversations, and family-friendly games. On Thursdays, participate in a special hands-on activity inspired by the Alaska Highway Sign Post Forest, where you can share your Alaska Highway stories and create a personalized sign reflecting your journey. These signs can either be taken home or left with the curatorial team to contribute to a recreation of the Sign Post Forest for an upcoming exhibition. This event is free to attend, with no registration required, and takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the museum lawn (with indoor activities scheduled in case of rain).
