Femme Locale Exhibit: CHARMED

Exhibit runs Sunday, May 3, 2025-Thursday, June 25, 2026. Closed Mondays.
This is the THIRD year of Femme Locale Western Mass and we are thinking “The third time’s a charm!” Please RSVP for more details!
Bringing up themes of controlling our world or achieving things as if by magic, we are keenly aware of how as women we need to walk a line and use our charms in the world that is designed for and by men.
Curated by Christine Texiera and Alexia Cota, this exhibition is in the spirit of the Thrive Together Network's encouragement for women to show all in the same month - Taking. Up. Space initiative.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Femme Locale included prizes!

Founder’s Exhibition Prizes:
Four artists from this exhibit have been invited to participate in a larger, more in-depth exhibition at 50 Arrow Gallery. This exhibition runs July 2 through August 14, 2026 with a reception during Easthampton's Arts Night Out July 11, 2026 from 4-7pm.
Winners: Caroline Ann James, Renee Pitre, Yeukai Chiroodza-Imeh and Sarah Gay

Curators Award:
A $100 gift certificate to the Mill District General Store will be awarded to one artist. This award is open to artists who may not yet have a full body of work or the availability to commit to a larger group exhibition.
