Details:
Join us for this annual summer series exploring rare and common prairie flora at Doolittle Prairie near Story City. Learn about history and ecology of central Iowa’s prairies. Led by Dr. Tom Rosburg, these walks are great for prairie enthusiasts and beginners alike.
These walks are free and no registration is required.
Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, as there are no maintained trails through the prairie. We encourage you to wear sun protection and bug repellent, and bring a water bottle.
