For the second year in a row we are excited to be supporting a local foundation! Battle Borne is here doing amazing things helping Veterans in the Lehigh Valley:
At Battle Borne, we are a veteran-founded nonprofit organization committed to empowering military veterans and first responders in the Lehigh Valley. Our work is grounded in the H.A.R.T.S. of our organization:
H – Habitation: We provide transitional housing support for veterans through our veteran transition home, helping them build a stable foundation for the future.
A – Avocation: At our veteran drop-in centers, we advocate for those who served—whether it’s helping navigate benefits, finding employment, or connecting to mental health resources.
R – Recreation: Healing comes in many forms. Through programs like peer support groups,
therapeutic massage, and veteran yoga sessions, we create safe spaces for connection and wellness.
T – Transportation: We help eliminate transportation barriers with our Battle Borne van and our partnership with Uber, ensuring veterans can access appointments, support services, and job interviews.
S – Sustentation: No one should go hungry. We partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to run a MilitaryFood Share Distribution program that provides essential nutrition and care to veterans and their families in Lehigh and Monroe counties.
Battle Borne Mission Statement
Battle Borne is a collaborative effort among like-minded individuals and organizations intent on
repairing and restoring people who have served our country. We do this by delivering a unique level of support and guidance to those service men and women who have emotional and psychological wounds. We provide support directly and indirectly in collaboration with others in our community who value those who have served this nation and its communities.
