Details:
The 6th annual Parade celebrates the history, culture and diversity for the African diaspora. Parade steps off at 11:30 AM from the corner of Morton Ave and South Swan St and marches down the hill to the Juneteenth Festival at Giffen Memorial Elementary School. Civic and social organizations, national organizations, schools and bands participate. This year we are honoring Albany City Mayor, The Honorable Dr. Dorcey Applyrs.
