Founded in 1919 by visionaries led by Mr. Ernest Way, Lenawee Country Club began with an ambitious design for an 18-hole course, initially playable with only nine. The full course debuted on Memorial Day 1927, weathering the challenges of the Great Depression and World War II. A new clubhouse emerged in 1949, paving the way for milestones like hosting the Michigan Open in 1950. Now known as Hills of Lenawee Golf Club, our stunning 129-acre, par 72 course boasts pristine fairways and fast greens, welcoming golfers of all skill levels to create lasting memories.
