Learn the basics of caning in this one-day workshop. You will learn the 6-Strand cane pattern, one of the most common woven patterns for cane seating. This class will also include discussions regarding project selection, structural maintenance, and repair strategies to ensure a symmetric and pleasant design. We will provide a frame for students to weave their 6-stand cane pattern.
