Book Signing with Jeremy Cross

The Bookstore Plus is pleased to host author, Jeremy Cross, for a book signing event on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1-3 PM to autograph copies of his book "The Story of the Squatch”.
About the Book | For generations, ancestors of the Squatch family were taught to avoid all humans, no matter what. Squatch and humans just did not mix. The Squatch in our story thinks his elders could be wrong, though. The world is a big place, surely one of them had to be friendly. One afternoon, the Squatch comes across three humans, hiking in the mountains. Could a single meeting change everything? Could the Squatch become friends with the humans, even with their differences? The Squatch reminds us to keep our minds open, because we never know just who, or what we will find.
About the Author | Jeremy Cross has been scribbling short stories in notebooks and on loose sheets of paper since elementary school. Growing up, he was captivated by the magic of a well-told story and the mystery of the Great Outdoors. He is the first-time author of the self-published children’s book, ‘The Story of the Squatch’. Jeremy resides in Saratoga
Springs, with his wife and their treasured dog, Archie. When he’s not dreaming up
stories, Jeremy enjoys getting lost, paddling the quiet ponds of the Adirondacks. He is
currently working on his second book and hopes to continue sharing stories that inspire
curiosity, imagination, and a love of the outdoors.
