Details:
Adirondack Center for Writing director, Nathalie Thill, will lead a conversation with three legends in the field of journalism: Tom Curley, Peter Pringle, and Eleanor Randolph.
Randolph has been on the editorial board of the NY Times since 1998, working mainly on city and state politics, media, and Russia. For thirty years Peter Pringle was a foreign correspondent for the The Sunday Times, The Observer, and The Independent working in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, and the US. In 1979 Tom Curley was one of the original staffers that founded USA Today and served as the president and publisher from 1991-2003, he later served as the president of the Associated Press from 2003-2012. These three colleagues are all veteran journalists with incredible stories, deep knowledge of our history, and they are old friends, indeed Peter and Eleanor are married. Join us as Thill engages them in conversation about their experiences, their stories, and their perspective on journalism today.
