About Healty Urban Soils Learn simple techniques to support soil health and reduce lead exposure in your community garden or back yard plot. There will be hands on demonstrations and Q&A with local soil science experts from UMASS Extension. There will be rapid soil testing available on site for your home or community garden plot. You are welcome to bring a soil sample to test. Nightingale Community Garden is located at 512 Park St., a 15 minute walk from Shawmut Station on the Red Line. Street parking is also available.
