Unearth Your Family Stories (Main Library)

Much of the genealogy process involves hunting down records with names and dates. However, there is a new emphasis on preserving family stories. Even websites such as Ancestry and Family Search have added features that allow you to upload photos and records, as well as write down the stories passed through the generations. To help budding genealogists unearth their own family stories, we will have an informal writing session with prompts available to guide you. So, bring whatever you like to write with (pen, tablet, laptop). We will have up to 12 spaces available so email deborah.tarsiewicz@abilenetx.gov to register.
