About the book: At age 8, orphaned, precocious Wildfire seems destined to a life of selling her handmade crafts to Niagara Falls tourist alongside her Ojibwe aunts. About the author: Brianne Baker is an author and professor who has taught course in creative writing and academic at Columbia University and NY University. She lives in NYC with her husband, their son & their Shiba Inu. This is Brianne's debut novel.
