Details:
Join us for Tai Chi for Health in the Park! Instructor Libby Hill will lead us in this special program under the NatureWorks Pavilion at Kiwanis Recreation Park.
Libby teaches Tai chi chuan, which has been practiced for centuries as a martial art. Over time, this form was studied and modified to create a form of Tai chi chuan that is focused on improving health through a series of slow, gentle movements. This gentler, slower form provides many health benefits, such as reducing both pain and stress, improving balance and lowering blood pressure. As a result, Tai Chi for Health programs have become increasingly popular for all ages.
Come in comfortable clothing and wear flat shoes; leave renewed. Sunscreen is advised.
Registration required. For adults ages 18
