Adopt a (Mini) Bald Eagle at the Headlands Branch

Adopt a (Mini) Bald Eagle Calling patriotic Americans of all ages! In celebration of our nations 250th anniversary, come to the Headlands Branch Library (4669 Corduroy Road Mentor, OH 44060) during the month of July to adopt a (mini) Bald Eagle, while supplies last, and receive an adoption certificate. In addition, there will be building materials on hand to make an Eagles nest, an information sheet of important facts about our national bird, Bald Eagle books and DVDs to borrow, coloring pages, word games, and patriotic tattoos. Children can participate in a scavenger hunt to find hidden American flags around the library for a prize. Consider this your civic duty to celebrate 250 years of independence in our glorious nation. PLEASE NOTE: THE HEADLANDS BRANCH LIBRARY IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS!
